Extended Curriculum

In order to further the learners’ ability to make independent choices about use of leisure time, the extended curriculum has been totally personalised for the individual. Our excellent enrichment activities have been further developed with a variety of interesting and useful activities which contribute to the learners’ enjoyment and achievement, and their personal, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. Strong partnerships with employers and members of the community result in enriched provision for our learners.

Staff maximise opportunities in sessions and all learning contexts to promote equality of opportunity and awareness of cultural and linguistic diversity by ensuring all learning activities motivate and engage all learners, whatever their age, ability and cultural background, and that they are suitably demanding. Foxes has an outstanding range of extended curriculum activities which are responsive to interests expressed by learners and promote and foster their holistic development. The following activities allow the learner to explore personal, social and ethical issues as well as enabling learners to make a positive contribution to the community.
